Cohen, Corbin, Bianco??
Only on this board. Not in the real world. Just because someone on here writes a post with an idea it doesn't mean that is what really happens. Bianco even publicly said he was staying at Ole Miss before the search even started. He was never considered...at all!!!! (Thank goodness! Just look at his record there in the post season.) Mainieri was Skip's first choice after Wells said he wasn't leaving Alabama. You need to stop confusing message board chatter with reality.

he could have gotten a coach with more credibility behind his name.
Name one who was making less than that with more name recognition. Of course, Miles did win the NC in his third season at LSU, but he's still a failure, right???

I knew you were too immature to have a real conversation with.

This is not a conversation. It's a message board.
So, you can call teenage girls whores on here, but if someone points out how stupid your posts are, that's immature??? Ok, I understand now.

You have such an inferiority complex, you have to criticize successful people in order to feel better about yourself. You need counseling....

I didn't say making less... I thought we should have shelled out MORE money and gotten someone. Hell, Del Rio wanted the job but Skip was too damn impatient.

Is that what they told you at your little Coaches Committee circle jerk?

I will NOT be the coach at Alabama.
Sound familiar? they all do it. coach speak.. what would you expect him to say, BEFORE he was even contacted, "Man, I really would love to get the LSU gig, you know thats my dream job".....

that would make him at least the second choice... and if you think Skip didn't at least talk to Bianco....

When you come out and pretty much set a ceiling on what you're going to pay any new coach, you eliminate the upper class coaches..

Oh well then, that's settled. So does that mean what one hears being said publicly is always the absolutely accurate truth? Except... let's see, I think I remember Nick Saban saying publicly that he was not leaving Miami for Alabama.

The shear numbers of Psychology Phd.s on here that know the inner workings of the human mind and what motivates people to express their own opinions is amazing.

When you can't attack the message, you attack the messenger with name calling.

BTW, weren't Wells, Bianco, Corbin, Cohen, Horton and Pawlowski (the former coach of Charleston College and currently at Auburn) all considered by Bertman. Even though they might not have all had a formal intervirew, I guarantee that Skip "Informally" spoke with all of them......
