I'm a very big positiger and like our class this year but I have to admit our lack of DL and OL concerns me greatly. I know we have alot of talent at OL but DL scares the hell out of me even though we prolly kill it next year at the position this could hurt us this year and next with depth. Just don't think we are going to have the horses to compete with the UF's and Bama's base on what they are bringing in until we reload with trenches. JMO.

I agree with this. LSU has lost a lot of luster the past two seasons. Even with that said its amazing the problems we are having recruiting defensive linemen.

Yeah,how in the heck did we miss out on him,when one of our commits plays with him. The guy has fantastic tapes. He looks much better than any prospect we were on,even Marsh. I've just lost faith in our staff,and I'd fire the D-line coach,tomorrow(who would we freaken lose?????). There is no excuse for this shite at D-line freaken U.

We have turned into the most negative fan base . Played at LSU n the 70's and love the school. I have bragged about our fans everywhere I have lived but now I have a difficult time supporting the attitude of the fan base on this site. Saints fans are admired and LSU fans are ridiculed for our attitude. We have out Bamaed Bama !

Have lurked for about 5 years but finally got so fed up with this know it all group on this board that I had to join. Wish I could whip the arse of these punks that have never smelled the grass of Tiger Stadium !

It's all good. Folks will come around after a while. They are too anxious and feel left out of all the excitement from the lack of numerous 5 or 4 * announcements to LSU in the waning hours of this year's recruiting period. It's really the spectacle of the announcement which gets them high and like addicts, they are in need of a fix. It will subside by the time the spring game comes around and they see that all is well with the program.

We were late in on copeland bc of Marsh. Had Les Known Marsh would bolt, we would have jumped others earlier. Out of state guys hurt us bigtime this year, both directly and indirectly.

We will be fine, but Coach Miles needs to begin working in these younger kids and show recruits than can come to LSU and play early. That is what other coaches are doing in the SEC. Most due to need, but that does hurt us some in recruiting. Kids want to hear their name on ESPN.
