LSU has an advantage in La. as do most of the state schools with their top recruits. The differences are keeping the A players in state, which until Dinardo, Saban, and Miles sealed the borders, we were losing many of the Reggie Waynes, Ed Reeds, Warrick Dunns, and other like them. The second issue is regional recruiting in TX, MS, AL, FL, GA, and TN. This is where Les has done well and is not it's LSU because it's LSU. I do think that we need to be VERY selective with far away kids and really stick to the SE and SW regions in our offers.
