I have never cooked this before, but I have some and wanted to know what would be the best thing to do with it? I was thinking maybe gumbo. I know I tried to just cook it the other day on a skillet for breakfast sausage, but it was kind of bland and gross. Any suggestions?

Great in Gumbo or a red gravy. Is it smoked or fresh?

Put in a skillet with onion and bellpepper. Add a little water and cover, continue to add water until cooked. When almost done remove cover and let what little liquid you have reduce.
Serve with mashed tators and peas!

Got plenty of it, so if you want you can post recipe. Or I could just look one up. Thanks.

I don't really have a recipe, just use it instead of hamburger meat, or ground beef, also add some pepperoni. I use deerburger and deer sausage in everything, lasagna, spaghetti, meatloaf, and grilled burgers.
