blunders!
The big thing I took from the Saints game as it affects LSU is that bringing the heat time and time again affects the QB and dicates how the game plays out. Yeah, the Vikings dominated offensively but the pressure kept coming and did affect the outcome of the game. On defense, Chavis and LSU need to start bringing the heat more to get back to being the LSU everyone wants them to be!

Please stop with the Vikings and LSU/Ole Miss comparisons. Did the Vikings run out of time and lose the game b/c Childress forgot to call a timeout for 16 seconds? NO. Did Childress call for a spike of the ball with one second left on the clock. NO. End of discussion

And yet the Vikings lost the game because the QB doesn't have it between the ears and/or the coach didn't coach him up enough.

How do you have 12 men on the field when you are in position to win the game?

How do you throw an interception when you can easily run for the yardage you need?

475 yard total offense
165 yard rushing
gave up 7 of 12 third down conversions
Viking fumble 6 damn times,

I cant believe that a comparison was made to the LSU d needing to play like that....that is EXACTLY how the LSU team plays....no pressure by the 4 man front, no run stoppers, DE running upfield giving up the backside to Peterson, zero QB sacks.

That WAS the LSU defense

Favre didn't even know how many yards they needed to get into field goal range.

He has no business playing QB.

I agree. I've said it all season long. LSU and Saints have the same defense....and I still don't like it, only the Saints have an offense.
