Said that Miles and crew showed him the offensive stat sheet and compared AU and LSU. Not sure why they'd do something like that considering statistically AU was much better.

Anyone know anything good? Thought we would've heard something by now

I'm sure they only showed the stats that we were better in.

they wouldn't do it unless the stats show LSU an advantage....

BTW: we whipped AU last year...

Maybe he was showing him how badly we need another offensive contributor.

Hey, that's a great recruiting edge:
Offer Reed the OC position!

Well, Au's running attack is what made their offense. i'm sure lsu's passing attack was much better. Especially passes to the wr's vs rb's.

Stats from the LSU-Auburn game maybe?

If Miles compared the stat sheet between Auburn and LSU, it was probably to show the amount of production that is graduating (Lafell) vs. the amount returning. Auburn had a much younger receiving corps and DeAngelo Benton hardly sniffed the field this year.

Miles showed Reed the total offensive production from the wr spots compared to auburn. stat wise LSU recievers outperformed auburns even with the struggles of the OL and no running game.

Maybe they were showing him the stats from where we had D. Bowe, Buster Davis and Early Ducet or B. LaFell, D. Byrd and TT, to show he we need that third guy who can produce and eventualy step into the spot light.

I'd love to get Reed to sign with us. Hopefully a Jai type sighning

Someone mentioned on another board one of the stats was the completions to WR's and not just overall team completions.

I believe 70% percent of LSU's passes were to WR's as opposed to other teams who might have had higher completion numbers, but those were to a combination of TE’s and RB's.

So I could see how that stat would play in LSU’s favor.

Ive got both the LSU and AU numbers pulled up right now. I cant see any category that would work in our favor, still searching though.

Or maybe they showed him the Saints offensive production and Les said there's something in the water and talked about how there's something special going on in Louisiana and this offensive production will just carry over to LSU.

One stat that is interesting is that Auburn's second leading reciver in terms of completions is Mario Fannin a RB with 42 completions.

To be honest, alot of our points and stats came against the bought wins (Furman, Ball St.). Against teams when it matter, that POS Chris Todd did not do anything. Im so glad he is gone. All AU fans will say "He set the TD record for a year" but that doesnt mean anything wen he scored 3 points against LSU and 7 against KY. Good riddance.
