It really is amazing the division between the people from North and South LA, and for no reason at all at that.
I've never visited, or heard of, a state that the people from the bottom/top argue as much as this one. It's ridiculous and unneccessary.

It's because South LA is Louisiana, and North LA is Arkansas.

Florida and California can EASILY be broken into two distinct states...S. Florida actually wanted to form a new state last year
these two states can much more easily be broken into two distinct state than can Louisiana
