re: Teachers losing jobs and coaches getting raises??????????

It was a poor choice of words brought up in the faculty senate discussion.

LSU coaches base salaries are paid by the university because they are teachers. 300,000 of Miles salary is paid by LSU, 400,000 of chavis salary and the list goes on.

I think that was the point being brought up but it was turned into a negative.

LSU athletics is keeping the university afloat right now and its common knowledge.
