I hate Bayless but he said some thing yesterday that I think most sensible people would agree with>

He said that one of the best reasons for Kiffin leaving for USC was that the SEC was tougher than the PAC 10 could ever hope to be.

Funny how that has become such a stark reality--even to clowns like Bayless.

Yet some still refuse to accept the fact.

As long as PAC 10 teams continue to beat SEC teams there's room for debate.

Even in years when the SEC wins more (2-1 last season) the games are almost always very tight.

Tennessee is a great program, but it does not quite compare to USC as far as prestige and tradition.

I highly doubt he left because he was afraid of the big bad SEC. He didn't do too badly this year in conference.

And he jumped from maybe the 5th best job in the SEC to probably the best job in the PAC 10

The so-called emergence of the Pac 10 as a power conference this season was a myth created by the media in attempting to save face when their annual USC suck fest went south.
