You're assuming that Lane was a good enough coach to beat bama. I don't know if that is such a widely held idea.

maybe..maybe not

I was more thinking about the angle of UT's recruiting being set back about 2-3 years. This class will certainly suffer. Overall, it'll set the program back at least 2 years.

..not a Kiffin fan but he was a blocked FG away from beating bama this year ...
