I assume you compiled the statistics for TOP 25 teams based on the final ap standings and not the rankings when LSU played the team. If you factor in the ranking of the opponent at the time of the game, the record for the past two seasons looks like this.
2008
WIN #9 Auburn
LOSS #12 Florida
LOSS #9 Georgia
LOSS #1 Alabama
WIN #14 Georgia Tech
2009
WIN #14 Georgia
LOSS #1 Florida
LOSS #3 Alabama
LOSS #14 Penn St
Total 3-6
No real difference, I see your point. We need to get better in big games. I was just interested in what the change would be if it were done this way.
2008
