"LSU Football Fan:
The 2010 Annual Football Season Ticket and Parking Wait Lists are now open. The deadline to join either wait list is March 31, 2010.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
There is a $10 membership fee per wait list.
Wait list memberships are valid for the 2010 season only and will NOT carry over from year to year.
All season tickets and parking passes will be distributed using the LSU Priority Point System.
Over the last three seasons, the approximate rank needed to receive an offer of at least two season tickets was: rank 5,100 for the 2007 season; rank 1,450 for the 2008 season; rank 3,000 for the 2009 season.
If you have an existing LSU account, you must sign in using that account to utilize your LSU Priority Point ranking.
The deadline to join the wait lists for the 2010 season is March 31, 2010.
To sign up for either wait list, please Click Here or visit LSUsports.net.
Thank you for your support of LSU Athletics!"
So is a Priority Points of let's say 6500 good or bad? Are the numbers listed above pars for a minimum or maximum level to purchase tickets?

If I had to guess, I'd say that is probably a tad too high to get season tickets this year. But who knows, with the economy and all the Miles negativity, that might make the cut.

Please clarify for me... does the statement regarding Priority Points affect only those waiting to be season ticket holders?
Or, does it including current season ticket holder (is your ability to retain your season tickets based on Priority Points)?

has nothing to do with retaining your tickets
only for new season ticket holders or existing season ticket holders who want more

6500 bad
those are the minimum ranks needed to be able to buy tickets for their respective years.
for ex: 2009: 1-3000 could have got tickets

Just pulling a number out of my arse but Im 90% sure the ranking to get tickets this year will be 5400.

Just curious but how many points do you have to be 6500?

Can I at least get a frikkin parking pass?
Posted on 1/12/10 at 12:26 pm to SloMeaux
Good parking passes are even more difficult to come by than lower bowl season tickets !

You would be surprised how many people pass on upgrades and requesting more tix or parking passes.
Anything over 3500 is worthless though.

You are better off saving your 10 bucks.. You are in the same boat Im in. Im not going to waste the time although maybe they put together a nice package for wait list people next year and the games are not as crappy. But you are probably a couple bad seasons away or 4 years away from realisically having a high enough ranking.

right, it's so dumb... back in the day i thought i'd sign up for this for a baseball parking pass. so i signed up one year to the "waiting" list and didn't get one that year, so the next year i called to see what my spot was (like if i had moved up)... yeah, it's a yearly list that's cleared after every year. they need to stop calling it a waiting list because it's a "sign up and hope you're ranked high enough this year" list. "waiting list" would lead you to believe that you might not get it now, but the longer you're on the list, the bettr your chances might get. false.
