He gets paid to do one thing and one thing only and that's coach. Most of you who write on here calling for his head could not do what he does. Its ok to whine about a subpar season, but lets be honest, as LSU fans we have become spoiled with the 11-2 and the 12-1 seasons. It was time for us to come back down and regroup. So what Saban brought us some good recruits? Year in and year out we still get some of the greatest athletes in the country after he left so something is still working. I would just like everyone to chill out fb season is over, baseball season is around the corner. Let's just move on and look forward to next year.

didn't say he was good, great, bad or mediocre. Just said that's what he gets paid to do. Not everyone can be a Pop Warner or a Bowden.

I think what he did during his time here goes without saying.

You're paying someone top 5 money to coach and you're getting top 25 results. You can take just about any other college coach out there and we'd have won the games we did this year. If I'm going to pay one of my employees top dollar, I expect top results. If you're satisfied with a top 25 program, go hire another coach and save the school a few million bucks.

You can't reason with people who accept mediocrity as excellence.

I think we are dealing with someone here that looks at the results alone and not the performance on a game to game basis, much like Miles.

top 5 money or not it just happened we are running into some of the same problems that other top 5 schools ran into when they hired and fired coaches during their run at greatness, Miles or no we still have a top program and need to be on the same page. We will get back to where we want to be. But like every school LSU is hitting a rut. Give it time with Les and the football players. Players have to make plays and coaches have to coach. Being a fan means supporting your team win or lose.

He's not the greatest coach and sure isn't the worst coach LSU ever had. Calling for his head is what gets me I'm sure everyone of you guys doing that looks at every play and ever game with a microscope so I'll leave that up to them to discuss. I stand behind our coach and will always enjoy watching them play win or lose.

Huh? You mean like Zook at Florida?

After this season I can no longer defend the man. Some of the gross incompetence shown especially in the Ole Miss game finally made me lose the faith that I had left in him as a coach. I cannot say what you said with any confidence at all with Miles at the helm. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Yes it is and I will. But don't be one of those people that calls someone not a true fan for criticizing the coaches and players on their faults during times of losing and even winning.

Debatable. No other inferior coach had the talent Miles does.
