I have been following LSU since 1958 and every year our fan base gets worse. I use to be so proud of our fans. Now when I look up to fans I think of Nebraska, where they sat through losing season after losing season but never gave up.

Our fans bail so fast it is sickening. Now we're ready to bail on the coaches. I don't know.

I hope this wasn't directed at me...

I have vehemently defended Les Miles form day one as the coach at LSU. While others pointed to reason the fanbase should be concerned, I defended him. I enjoyed the wins and was happy with the results, regardless of how they were achieved and whether or not, (I can't believe I'm going to say it) the PROCESS being used to achieve them was sustainable.

But at some point when I looked at Miles I was suddenly left with the conclusion that our emporer has no clothes.

I'm 39 and obviously younger than you. My first game was Dalton Hilliard's first in 1982, and was able to first get season tickets in 2001...and since that time I've entered Tiger stadium as soon as the marshalls will allow me to go to my seats, and stay until they basically tell me to leave. I'm not going anywhere...but that doesn't mean I'd like to see LSU slide back into the middle of the pack, the place where I, and you before me, remember LSU spending the bulk of the time during our lifetimes.

Are you watching the same games we are? I will never give up on the Tigers (follower since the 60's)but the if you like the coaching/game planning last 2 seasons (which they are getting paid very well for)you are dilusional. The national media thinks we are a joke? I'm praying that CLM has a real "want" to turn it around , but they will have to prove it to me on the field!
