Can someone explain the Tuck Rule

From the way I "thought" it was described, Rodgers fumble would be overturned due to the tuck rule. Here is the infamous tuck rule play and I dont think the Rodgers fumble looks much difference.

Never hit the ground, you could call it a fumble or an INT. Either way it's a TD.

i thought the same thing when i first saw it but unfortunatley rogers kicked it in the air and dansby caught it out of the air making it a interception

If I remember correctly, Brady's fumble was ruled an incomplete because his arm was moving forward. The NFL decided that if a QB is tucking the ball and loses it, it is an incompletion. The Rodgers situation is different, I don't think the ball hit the ground so it really doesn't matter
