What questions MUST be answered on Lost?

I've read that there will be some mysteries that are never answered on Lost. Leaving it to the imagination of the audience.
But what are some that you think must be answered or you will be aggravated?
For me:
1. What exactly is the Smoke Monster
2. Who and what are Jacob and the man in black
3. What is the statue and why does it only have four toes
4. What are the ghosts (Christian, Charlie) and what is their purpose.
I will be really pissed if they never explain these, especially the monster.
Edited to add: And tell me how the hell Richard never ages.

All of them
and I mean every single last one of them
and then I want a book (with pictures) and a 10-disc DVD set laying out the entire backstory, frontstory, and inside story, then I want the writers to open up a website that is manned 24/7 by a live person ready to answer any of my questions at any time

I want all of your questions answered, but to be honest I don't want all of the questions answered, like the Numbers and alot about the Island. It just comes down to whether the answer will be satisfying or not. Lucas revealed way too much about the Force in the prequel trilogy to where the Force used to be enticing, but it isn't anymore. If the answers are anything like the midiclorian answer, then they shouldn't be answered. I don't see how the Numbers and where the Island gets its powers can be anything but unsatisfying.

I think if they did a mega-flashback to the numbers and had a decent story I would like them to be answered.
But the island overall I'd like it to remain mysterious, because that is what the island is and taking that away from the show would piss me off.

In the recaps that Directv and the producers have been doing, they said that Michaels occupation was a "Carpenter" which he wasnt, he was a painter.
If he truly was a carpenter, that would lend creedance to the notion that walt is "Jesus"

Didnt Charlie go to the bathroom to take some of his heroin right before the crash? He may have gone to the back bathroom.
