Does anyone else feel like LSU is entering another "Dinardo-esque" era? I love my Tigers, but damn, this season and the start of the post season have been frustrating.

Who was it who said "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it?" LSU obviously hasn't learned. I'm afraid you are correct.

Yeah, you are spot on. I remember after Dinardo won that national championship and then we started losing to the #1 teams in the country and only going to the Cap One Bowl how much that sucked and I felt like I needed to take a huge crap on our program.

History shows that programs often experience ups and downs (Bama didn't win the SEC Title for 10 years and the NC title for almost 20 years). Let us not get into this funk over a mere two years.

In the last 20 years, LSU , the SEC (and maybe even NCAAF as a whole) has turned a corner in terms of how business is done.

If Les is not the right person - have faith in probability if not in the School and Board to hire the right head coach or ensure the right co-ordinators for the job.

no i do not. the reason is that dinardo hired tepper who was a complete failure and refused to fire him when he was basically told to do so. there really was no hope teppers system would work; it was to academic and not practical. lsu's offense may have looked like a tepper defense but it really wasn't. lsu's offense could't run the ball and we had a qb that needed a way to go; his head was filled with instructions and that is the painful part of a learning curve. in short, there is much hope our offense will greatly improve; there was no hope for tepper's D. lastly, our D this year really kept our O hanging around and in every game. scoring O and scoring D are the most important stat, not yardage gained or given up.

since they are satisfied with the the 112th offense i would have to say that we are in that era already.

I think its more or less an issue of just typical rantard fricking thinking.

Just me though.

No we have twice the talent we had during the Dinardo years.

If Billy Gonzales and Frank Wilson can influence Crowton and get the offense back on track we will be fine.

We still have to beat a much better Bama and of course Florida but we will be a solid team.

If the offense does not turn around, we will get rid of Crowton and Les will be on a very hot seat for a year.

We all need to be patient.

Nothing like the Dinardo era. With that said next years schedule will prove brutal.

Stop reading the negativity posted on this site and it will get better. As someone that seldom visit or post here..it is very depressing that so many can be so unrealistic and negative towards a program they profess to love.......

Who's satisfied with the 112th ranked offense? Did I miss something?

It's a reference to the fact that Crowton isn't going anywhere according to Miles.

I got that. It's just ultra na?ve and misguided (and frankly oblivious) to think that because we didn't fire Crowton, Les is somehow satisfied with our offense.

DinardoeEraFan I sure hope you're right. In one of his recent press releases he indicated that he knew there was a problem with the offense. You'd have to be an idiot to think otherwise. And people who have a low opinion of Miles must admit that even he has to be aware his offense finished at the bottom. The real question is whether Miles has the ability to turn it around rgardless of who he uses at OC. Miles is ultimately responsible for the OC,offense, defense, etc. And I don't think Miles has the ability to turn the offense around. I really hope I'm wrong.

Who the fck is DinardoeEraFan? Were you somehow addressing me? If so, what do you hope I'm right about? Miles' lack of satisfaction with our offensive results? He's said flat out that he was disappointed in our offense. He hired a passing game coordinator. Said the Spring is going to be heavily focused on the running game. He's also said that he's going to re-evaluate every drill, and make them more competitive. He's also called out JJ in the press. Do you want him to call you personally and voice his disatisfaction?

Too bad there is no way to combine all of the
'productive' and 'profound' opinions on the coaching staff. If that could be done, maybe
recruits or those who communicate with them might think these redundant postings that are
never ending are being made by the same 'fans'.
After all, so many of these opinions are just full of new and valuable information! You have a choice. Move on if you want to help the program or continue your endless yada yada and run off players.
