I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS INTERESTING TO LOOK AT. WAS SABAN GETTING TRASHED HERE IN HIS LAST SEASON AT LSU. IT SEEMS EERILY SIMILAR TO THIS SEASON BESIDES FOR THE FACT THAT WE WERE BEATEN BY A DECENT PROGRAM IN THE CAP ONE THIS YEAR.

we beat a lot of quality opponents that year and got robbed by Auburn.

Look how the team got better towards the end...that is what is different about Saban. His teams get better, they are not the same or worse than when they start.

We beat Florida in Gainesville. We beat Alabama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas in succession. We lost to an Auburn team in Auburn on a bogus extra point call do over (Oh, and they went undefeated). Although they may not have given it their all on every down, the offense never looked as confused as they did this year and most of last year. And, we beat Miss St. 51-0 instead of almost losing to them like this year. Anything else?

The Auburn game was a joke and the Iowa game was a hail mary loss.
Reasonable to say they were very close to a 1 loss season. Quite a bit different than this season.

The difference here is miles squeaked by all year never really dominated an opponent. when Saban was here we scored more and dominated games.
