I dont keep up with basketball and basketball recruiting that much so im not really "in touch" with the program. So, in your opinion, do you think TJ can get us back to the Final 4 in about the next 5 years considering the recruiting and coaching he's done so far? I live in TX so i really dont know what kind of job hes been doing.

He's a very good coach and one thing you can rely on is that he's gonna get the most out of his players. We barely have any talent on this year's team, but there are a couple of very good players coming in next year along with a transfer Malcolm White.

I think within the next 5 years a Final Four is possible. We're not a basketball school, but there is a possibility.

He's brought 2 different teams to the Sweet 16.

He needs time to recruit, coaches get in on these kids in middle school.

As a basketball fan that goes to all the games and loves LSU, I can honestly say that I will never expect us to be a final four team. We should be back in the sec mix within 2 years. It takes alot of luck to make it that far though. Coaching is a lot but recruiting is important. We have a tiny fan base so I don't see us ever recruiting nationwide. What top out of state recruit would come?

Programs are built on support. Basketball will always be 3rd here.

When did bringing in top 15 classes equal the second round? That doesn't include the addition of Malcolm White. What's even more impressive with this class is that it's in a year that doesn't include blockbuster talent from the state of La.

I'm more concerned with keeping the top flight guys in-state (ex. Monroe, Augustin, etc). LSU will have no problem cherry picking a few guys from out of state to fill the holes.

yea that was brady's problem. never could keep the top LA recruits here. TJ should handle that fairly well.

I think TJ has the confidence of a lot of people. He expects the best out of his players and he gets it. If he can get top tier talent I can see final fours in the near future.

I was a brady guy but this post isn't true entirely. Bass, stro, davis, thomas , thornton and taz. They were all la. Boys.

Next year should be a pretty good year but look for a Final Four run in 2011/2012.

No doubt, Brady/Butch had their fair success of recruiting Louisiana. In fact, their best two teams at LSU were built around La talent. I believe it was time for LSU and Brady to part ways, but Brady wasn't all bad like some try to make him out to be.
