As some have suggested on here that Miles was trying to help or allowing time for Crowton to get another job. Problem is, Crowton has too much of a bad track record that no one wants him now.

Can't Gonzales still coach wideouts if/when he becomes OC? Why not use the open position to hire a legit QB coach?

Yes

He has a two hour tv sports show (KBTS channel 3.3) Monday-Friday, yesterday was the show's first one year anniversary.

He's is from Arkansas, been reporting sports on radio and tv for around 17 years.

44 years old, has a daughter, freshman at LSU.

Interesting thought. OC usually coaches the QBs but I dont see why it couldnt work your way.
