so basically you are saying our coaches are making too much money and therefore have quit coaching and don't give a damn any more. great theory man and just full of proof statements.
you are also blaming the coaching staff of being too stupid or apathetic to make any adjustments. your premise(s) do not hold up to me....
1) miles signed away his balls. wrong. he went for it on 3rd or 4th and one early in the season and learned it wouldn't work with this team. miles had no confidence in our OL getting any push. did you?
2)Russell Shepard-instead of accusing our staff of not wanting to win football games, maybe you should ponder WHY RUSSELL SHEPPARD wasn't what he was billed to be. only the coaches saw him at practice and you have to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding his ability to help the team at present. i was not that impresses with him, BUT hershel walker couldn't have run the ball behind our OL. just because a guy tore it up in high school doesn't automatically translate to college. i think he will be much more effective if and when we fix our blocking problems.
we are all frustrated as hell. i imagine miles is uber frustrated. my biggest concern is a lot more encompassing than how we used one specific player. w/o good run blocking, the running game doesn't work. w/o a good running game, the 4th qtr is hopeless. w/o a good running game, the passing game suffers. i am not defending the coaches, i am not blind or stupid or whatever i have been called but our problems are a lot more than miles not having any balls or not using any one player. i do not think their pay levels have a damn thing to do with it.

which still doesn't explain why Miles wasted a year of eligibility for this player.
and if I hear one ranter say that Shepard won't be around for his senior season anyway, I'm going to puke.
Plain and simple:
This coach will be fired next year, so go ahead and do it now.
This team was an utter disaster to watch, therefore making it not as much fun to watch.
We have more talent that doesn't perform the way it should, therefore making it not as much fun to watch.
If you Miles defenders really want to pin it on an inexperienced QB, new coaches etc. look at what our ex coach did with Bama in just three years. Miles should just be a victim of circumstance and be let go so ALL of the right decisions can be made.
Get a frickin clue, you all apear to be just as clueless as Miles, on a 2 minute drill.

You should always go for it on 3rd whether you have balls or labia.
