Inspired by the wedding thread below

So I asked my wife would she expect me to go to a wedding when the Saints are playing thier playoff game and she said it depends on how close they are to her. I said it could be her best friend or her favorite cousin. She acutaully said yes, she would expect me to go! I can't believe that! I thought she knew me better than that. Although, she is pregnant and her hormones are kicking in 5th gear! No way I would miss any Saints playoff game unless it involved an emergency with my daughter.

I'm calling BS on this. It's one thing to tell a woman you wouldn't be attending her wedding. It's another thing to tell her you won't be standing in her wedding. This would be suicide.

I'm lucky, I have a good one. My wife was standing in a wedding the day of the LSU-Alabama game last year and she knew there was absolutely no way I was going to miss the game....so I got a pass with the stipulation I had to leave immediately after and make the reception.

Well you can call BS all you want because you're wrong! I am a woman myself and there is no way in hell I would ever schedule my wedding during football season. Not all women are the same!!!! I rather wear my jersey than a dress I would wear once. So, the bride can take it as she pleases, but if you schedule your wedding during football season you better be prepared for the no shows including the wedding party!
