George W. Bush is not the most articulate politician, but he was smart enough to surround himself with highly qualified experts.
Les Miles is smart enough to get highly qualified coaches
You don't have to be highly articulate to be smart. Some people studder when they talk, but that is not a sign of stupidity.
Miles is not good at small talk for post game or halftime tidbits, but that doesn't prove he isn't a good football coach.
Being a good head coach has more to do with managing people, talent evaluation, attracting and staffing a coaching staff and cultivating the well heeled alumni.
Coordinator and assistant coaches have more to do with actual teaching and coaching.
As long as Miles keeps our recruiting classes at the 3.5+ star rated level and fields competitive teams on average and wins conference championships with veteran lead teams, he is doing a good job in my opinion.

not exactly your best example of proof of anti-stupidity.

As evidenced by his decision to retain the coordinator of an offense in the bottom 10 in the country and the absolute worst of the SEC. Statistically, 0-8 Vandy got more out of their fricking offense than we did.
He got Malveto out of here and got a DC that put our team in a position each and every game we played. His decision to retain Crowton and not go get another OC will probably mean the end of both of them if the offense is near as inept next season.

Winning wouldn't hurt either.

It's Miles staff. Seeing as very few position groups are playing up to their potential, that doesn't say much for his ability to gauge coaching talent.
