I heard he already threatened (hence his playing time for 3 games after Florida game), but he out performed every other ball carrier on LSU yards per carry.

The only way Les Miles will get kicked out is if something majorly wrong happens... and well, i never agreed with this until the PSU game, but to watch a team MUCH better than PSU and Ole Miss lose to both should raise an eye brow. I was at the game and I can promise you that no domination occured by PSU, they kicked 3 field goals due to LSU mistakes and stupid penalties.

You're full of shite homey. It's not Shep's personality to threaten his head coach. However, I would completely understand if, in a few weeks, the headlines read that he's transferring. What a fricking waste and it's 100% on Miles' dumb arse.

As long as Les is the HC, we're screwed.

I think Shepard's freshman year was totally wasted, he should have redshirted. If RS does transfer, which I hope does not happen, I will completley understand and I will root for him to do well, even if its at a rival school.

Transferring would be his biggest mistake.

Next year, he will get his time to shine...the experienced players in front of him are all gone now. It's time for Shepard to deliver and live up the hype as per his own words.

this is a time for RS to start getting giddy about some prime time, not to sulk. Sulking and transferring will only cost him another year of sitting and watching..or he can stay in school and start next season as LSU .

When Freshman start dictating playing time, because they were a hyped 5 star, then the HC has lost control... Which Miles hasn't.

RS will be fine. I understand why he might be upset, but still, he has 3 years of high quality playing time to look forward too...plus he did play on National TV and scored a 70 yard TD...

He was underutilized this year, but I think LSU just has too many skilled players they felt obligated to get touches and it cost us an identity trying to make everyone happy.

I could make an argument that DeAngelo Peterson should have caught the ball 5 times a game.

agreed, but I think they need to move him to WR3/slot and be done with it.

Maybe RS can say that Miles locked him in a dark, cold closet for a few hours. . .

Can't blame Shepard if he does transfer. It'll be the same shitty offense next season with JJ and Crowton running the show.

Not getting any touches in the bowl game was shocking.

I have to tend to agree with some of the others out there. During the season the lack of RS was really hindsight. He saw some games, he saw some touches. Some were good some were bad. Point being he was young and inexperienced. Should he have seen more time to be more prepared for next year sure... But at the same time we were loaded with other talent that paid their dues so like I said hindsight.

However, The bowl game was a shock no RS. Scott and Williams were done for the season and their time at LSU. He should have gotten touches. Hell Same can be argued with Randle. We unleashed Randle one game all year and he shined and of all games it was against that feared Nick Saban team playing for the National Championship.

When I look at this season I saw a lot of youth with no experience at a lot of key positions. Usually when you come across a team like this with the exception of Florida last year they start out shaky and kinda fall into place as the season looms. This team did not seem to do that at all really. Poor offensive line really hammered us in both aspects of the offense. Could not pass block for crap and that was their best thing they could do.

However if Jefferson did not drop back 20 steps I am not as sure they would have done that as well either. Overall the defense got better from last year but still a long way to go but the offense sunk fast and hard at an alarming rate.

OK, the kid is freaking stud! A recieving TE should get the ball early and often.

Done!

BTW: I can make an argument that Dickson should have been a major piece of the offensive scheme and plan to move the ball every single game, but again, Crowton and JJ ....are off...something broke

Dickson was totally under used this year, (I know he was banged up, but still)...see the game against OSU./..it was awesome...why did we forget about him?

I agree Dickson was not used either....its just one of the disturbing problems with this offense.

Maybe JJ couldn't get through his progressions to get to Dickson....I don't know....I'm just disgusted thinking our offense will be the same next year.

Eric, it is better to be thought a fool then open your mouth (in this case type) and remove all doubt.

Seemed our offense consisted of three players this year usually at all times. BL TT and CS, Then we had BL TT and KW, Then it was BL TT and SR... We did not spread the ball around at all and we suffered greatly.
