Since Miles isn't leaving, why not go after Mike Leach as Offensive Coordinator? OMG do we need the help!!!

We will not persue him with the controversy surrounding his alleged actions at Texas Tech, not that he'd come here to be the OC anyway.

Well there's a rumor now on the Coaches Changes board that Crowton is saying his goodbyes to the team, so if true, I say..........

If his playsheet was a map, he wouldn't be able to find his way out of the AD building.

Yea with Mike Leach's scheme in place our offense could move all the way down to 108-120.

Problem is, Miles believes in having a solid running game

What Bama win the MNC title, it's the blueprint for success.

Great d, great run game, decent passing...= win lots of games

Throw throw throw = 600 yards of offense, but no hardware

FWIW, from everything I hear Leach is one weird dude - fascination with Pirates, making his players change their last names on their jerseys to sound more masculine, etc. Despite the guy being an offensive guru - he has a reputation and it's not an altogether good one. You still want someone who will represent LSU with class.

Leach isn't coming to LSU, but I'm sure if he did, the offense would be adjusted for more rushing. Houston has the #1 offense mostly passing, but still ran for more yards than LSU.

Also, Miles won't be using the Bama formula anytime soon.

Our offense was so far away from Bama's this year that we can't even be considered to be in the same tier as them.

Bama ran a good mix of plays and kept defenses on their heels; Crowton on the other hand ran a jughead Big Ten offense that won't EVER work in the SEC. I'd much rather pass heavily with our athletes at reciever than run short side options and runs up the middle until third down then force JJ into a throw that can't be made.
