2010 LSU Football better than 2009?

What do you think? Regardless of records and other talent in the sec how do you think the 2010 team stacks up to the 2009 team? Better, worse, about the same?

Will be better. Coaches are not changing so we can just sit back and watch. If improves (as I and many other people believe) all is good, if not then change will take place.

No better, probably worse.

I see no reason to expect anything better than an 8-4 or 9-3 season. However I do see the possibility of experiencing something far less appealing, 6-6 or worse. The west will be a bear next year and we may be 4th or 5th best in our division.

Win it all in 2011

Well our defense was much better and our offense was prob about the same minus the to's.
Solid once again in special teams and recruiting continues to improve, so I say better.

I certainly would not bet the farm on their being better in 2010. I predict that after we get through with the creampuffs, we are going to find things pretty much the same. At that point the bitching will actually turn into legit heat. After a significant number of non-renewals for the 2011 season, Joe Alleva sits down with Miles and informs him that things need to be significantly better for 2011 or he is out.

LSU's offense will be pitiful. Defense the same. LSU will lose 5-6 games next year. It is a travesty to watch LSU's football program deteriorate due to Les Miles' buyout. The LSU situation is very similar to Florida State as it next to impossible to fire Bowden. LSU is unable to fire Miles due to his contract.

I'm not sure what everyone sees to think we will be any better
we'll definitely be about the same, possibly worse

I hate to say it, but I think 8 wins is a optimistic as I can get. I have lost all faith in the coaching staff and the development of the players. Our offense is terrible, and our defense can't get off the field.

I guess the "realists" think by saying year after year they will get better eventually they will be right. Even a blind squirrel will find a nut once in a while.

If no coaching changes are made, and I mean crowton and stud, then same or worse next year.

I think our offense has a chance to be pretty damn good. I like Jefferson with a full year under his belt along with Shepard, Randle, Toliver, DeAngelo Peterson, Ridley, Ford, etc. We still may end up 9-3 with our schedule, but I think we could see a better team on the field regardless. The two lines are the key to our 2010 season I believe, especially our o-line. Without significant improvement there, 9-3 might be the very best we can hope for. We'll find out in eight short months.

i don't know if we can really say what will happen at this point. yeah, we had 3 regular season losses this year, but that could have very easily been 6 had the ball bounced differently against Miss St, UGa, and Ark.
w/o significantly improvement on the OL and DL, i think 5 to 6 losses is inevitable. we'll probably hang around in games, but just can't quite put teams away in the 4th qtr when we have to.
if we see significant improvement on the lines, we can really get excited about next year.
