I think LSU is going to have more attrition than that. Going to be more than two transfers, IMO. We'll get close to 25 if not 25 next year. I'm sure LSU is going to send some players slacking on their way too. They know next year is stacked and if guy is slacking and hasn't developed in 3+ years...they're probably just going to find a new home for them.

My ex girlfriend who is a teacher at his high school and LSU alum has been talking to him and she thinks he's solid to come here. FWIW.

Parker talked about visiting in his recruiting diary on that same website the week before (12/23 article)

LINK

I haven't talked to any college coaches since I got back, but I'm sure there will be some calls in the next couple days. As of now, I plan to take three of my four remaining official visits to Clemson on the weekend of January 8, LSU on either the weekend of January 15 or 23 and Georgia Tech on January 30. I'm not sure if there will be time before signing day for me to take my fifth visit, but we'll see.

My top five schools (in order): South Carolina, Clemson, LSU, Georgia Tech, N.C. State.

That article is from the 23rd and the OP's link is from today. Hmmmm, I'd say this kid's decision is about as clear as mud.

Lol. No but part of me wonders if she is "on the payroll". She went to Houston law after LSU and ended up a teacher. I could only come up with she likes shaping young athlete's......minds! If you know what I mean!

Why are we listing Lache? I thought he was more than likely going somewhere else.
Is there some new info on him?

Clemson Rivals just posted an article where Parker says LSU, SC, and Clemson in that order. Hopefully that order sticks.

The gist of the Clemson/Gamecocks boards seem to be that the first three seem to be USC , Clemson, LSU with the first two alternating till yesterday.

But considering that he always had us in the top 3 maybe this is a good sign that he will hold on to that opinion.

From previous articles about him, he has always had us in his list - so I take it that this is not from way out there?

Yeah Clemson Scout just reported Parker is a lean to us at the moment (and that's without his official visit). I'll take that to the bank for now because the home crew is usually the first one pumping sunshine.

We have more spots open than people know. A couple of these guys can be counted back to last year...plus we lost someone that signed last year...Ainsworth.

Blue can count to last year's class...if he qualifies

Adams will too and this is likely the only way LSU accepts his commit

We have several recruits that aren't qualified and some that are fairly far off(Simon)

I think LSU will tell some people if they want to stay on the team, they have to greyshirt(Bates).

Problem solved. I don't think anyone is just going to be told take a hike...

Doesn't work that way anymore with the new rules.

Only 28 can sign the dotted line this year and that goes for anyone including anyone who is counted back to last class and greyshirts. Also the only prospects who can be counted back have to enroll early so that eliminates Blue.

With Ainsworth leaving the team we had 24 total enrollees last year meaning we can only count one early enrollee back this class and the only possible candidate is Adams.

If we sign a full 28 this year, only 25 can enroll on scholarship. So 3 prospects will either have to take greyshirts or become academic causalities. If one can count back then we only 2 prospects will have to take greyshirts or sign and place.

All in all we have 4 signee spots available or is it 3 because Bailey was greyshirted this Spring?

Forgive me if there is a hole in this somewhere but this is how I thought the new rules worked.

if nutt hadn't signed 36 players last year then we wouldn't even be worrying about this

Realistically this has nothing to do with LSU's numbers.
