I agree with you. Losing BP was a huge hit. Butch's greatest advantage was his long history in LA(not just with LSU) He knew the hot spots, coaches, and they knew him. Also BP had the luxury of a very fertile recruiting ground, now Brent Scott and TJ do. I had the privilege of talking to Coach Brent Scott at a recruits game a couple nights ago. He's night and day different then BP. Could be good, could be bad. BP usually showed up to the gym in slacks(not always) ....Scott showed up in LSU sweatpants and LSU sweatshirt with a hoodie. Just looked old school. Had a great personality, joking around a lot. Don't underestimate Keith Richard's value either. It's definitely going to be interesting to see how long it takes for the staff to lock up the state schools

I don't care where we recruit the player from if they turn out to be good players. Hopefully the current staff will sign the best from this state and fill in with out of staters.

But, you can bet if Brady was here all we would hear about is how they missed out on Brian Williams or Langston Galloway regardless of who they may have signed from elsewhere.

I'd like to atleast have a shot at the Chris Duhon's and DJ Augustin's.

I'm with you, I have no problem with out of staters.

But no reason to fly across the country to get Alex Farrer.(God Bless his soul)
