Maybe, maybe not. I couldn't catch an LSU game on a cruise that was on ESPN despite them having 18 ESPNs to choose from...they all had soccer.

Possibly. You can ask to have them surf the channels and if it's on one of them,(and probably is) they'll have one TV tuned in to it. Good Luck.

We were on the Carnival Triumph for the Saints/Skins game and they showed it on the big arse outdoor video screen on the deck. Since the ship leaves out of N.O., it's possible they'll show the Cap One Bowl.

I have been on two cruises at that time of the year and never was able to pick up even one bowl game.

They seem to have a European ESPN with no American football of any kind. You should be able to keep up with the score.

The ships have internet for bout $100 an hr.

Good luck.

We were on that cruise, too, so it's possible. I think they had to get some kind of special feed for the Saints game, though, since all the ESPNs are foreign. The OP might want to call Carnival and ask about it.

Once you get out of port, the only ESPN channels you catch are all Spanish channels. ESPN Deportes. I booked my cruise for January 7th. I'll probably still be in port for the national championship, hopefully.

Make them promise to get you to a port for the game. The other people on the cruise will understand.

We had a blast !! Of course we went with a pretty big crowd. It seemed a little smaller than the other ships.

As for the OP. I would start making noise about the game as soon as you get on the ship. Find other Tiger fans and get them involved too.The saints game wasn't originally scheduled to be shown but 100's of Who Dats would not be denied.

That was a great atmosphere !! Not like actually being there but it was like a really big outdoor sports bar.
