kid looked pretty good today in the indy bowl

he runs with good power and balance with speed mixed in there, had a nice 15 yard touchdown today where he got to the outside and ran it in for 6.

Michael is a good player, but he was overrated as a 5 star.

I like the backs we have coming in with Ware, Blue, and Gore

but c-mike is going to be a heck of a RB in his own right... ford will be a stud for us too

Numbers do not tell an entire story. He is a solid player no doubt, but I don't see the "elite" talent that I expect from a 5 star.

A high four star--yes.

A top 25 player nationally--no.

those numbers are pretty damn good for a FR.

id say Rivals having as a 5 star seems pretty accurate

if we had taken 2 running backs last year.we would have had 2 redshirt freshmen possibly next year.

If he was 3 star Christine Michael none of y'all would give a damn whether or not he came to lsu. But because he has 5 stars by his name he was a "huge miss"

Bingo. So caught up on how many "stars" a player has. Just the way yahoo and msn want it.

no, just the fact that he is a good young running back that was a hot topic of discussion in LSU recruiting last year

nothing about stars

I'm actually caught up with a guy who was a great HS player and now is turning into a great college player

he also begged for a scholarship offer from Les

bottom line is the staff messed up by not taking him---i don't care how many stars he had.

I still agree with the majority of this board--CM should have been a take by LSU.

If LSU took every recruit this board wanted we have like 100 recruits a year.
Hindsight is a bitch and you people are recruiting gurus.
