Why are you "Fans" saying our Saints?

This is not "our" team. Quit using words like our, your, we, our, my, I. Always pisses me off that some fans say this when this isn't your team. You are a fan. Just watch the game.

correct. also, even if we didn't have tax dollars in it, it's still our team because we support it. We put the money out for tickets, merchandise, etc.

I am going to go ahead and disagree with you there bub, here are a few facts for you hero.....
1.) Where do the Saints get a lot of their money for equipment, training and upkeep of the Dome?
DING DING, FAN MONEY SPENT WELL
2.) What makes you part of a program? Is it because you dress and play on the field? What about the guy who gives Gatorade to the players? Is he part of the team? What if I told you "that guy" does that as a second job? But according to your statement, that is not "his" team.
WRONG AGAIN, IT IS HIS TEAM
3.) What about the donations given to the Saints org for charities and, AND donations given by owners, business men, sponsors etc.?
DING DING, OUR TEAM (and yes, i donate all the time) and one of my ads are in the program every game.
I could keep going, but i will say this, THIS IS MY TEAM, OUR TEAM, MY NEW ORLEANS SAINTS, so get a life and GTFO with your nonsense.
ETA: my add cost 450 a game, and its small yes, but i cant afford posting 1000 dollars for a full page...IT IS MY TEAM!

and even beyond monetary. the team plays for the fans. the fans support the team. neither would exist (or at least mean anything) without the other. it's a symbiotic relationship that exists with all teams
