Hatred of USC

I hate USC just as any other sane person should, but where does it come from? Why does it seem that the majority of LSU, or southern fans for that matter, hate everything Southern Cal?

I started disliking USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, etc in the late sixties. Nothing new.

I hate them for claiming a title that's not theirs. People often forget LSU had a great team that year as well. (2003)

Only exposure was the 1998 CWS. On Sat., after losing to them on Thurs. giving them new life, we were stuck sitting with their fans watching the Tigers freeze at the plate in 40 degree weather seeing the classic outside pitch get a strike in Omaha. We would've beat ASU on Sunday for a threepeat.
Fans seemed to be arrogant asses.

It gets so old. Now they are excusing the 4 loss season on all the players that are now in the NFL! I'd like to see a comparison of the number of USC and LSU players on NFL rosters.

I can't help it, sorry. I am sure I'm damned for it ( and several other things), but it is what it is and USC gets blown by the media simply because it is USC. USC would regularly have 3 losses if it played in the SEC.

i was watching some best moments of the decade thing on sportscenter the other day with my dad. i turned to him and said, i bet you they dont show LSU winning either of their national championships. Well LSU made the piece, but for the blue-grass miracle and drew f*ing tate. Not for the 2 football national championships or 2 baseball championships from this decade. Why?
Because espn and the media in general put all of their time into teams that would increase their ratings; i.e. USC, Notre Dame, Cowboys, Yankees, Red Sox because not only do the local fan bases want to see them, but their are thousands of people around the nation who follow them for whatever reason. Its a business decision.

The media has mostly been favorable to the Tigers. Cinderella, media darlings we've been.
And they loved us in Omaha until we started winning so much...no one loves a dynasty unless it's your team. The underdog always creeps in eventually.
