some dumb shite the rant came up with in the early days of tigerdroppings. the new tiger logo looks cartoon like to some people, therefore the call it tounces.

THIS is a pictue of toonces the driving cat from the old saturday night live skit...see, with his/her arms/legs sticking up driving the car
so, the logo pictured here
is what prompted toonces b/c of the way the front legs of the tiger resemble those of toonces the driving cat
it has nothing to do with animation

what is it then smartass. your good at telling me i'm wrong but you have yet to tell me what it is in your mind. answer it for me then. the cartoon appearance of the logo has been called toounces by many on this damn board. it may have another meaning besides that but thats part of it.

This. It may have originally been for the whole top half of the tiger, but the name has been adopted for the stupid cartoon anime head, too.

fact of the matter, Toonces is the logo that LSU came out with that resembles toonces the driving cat as i explained earlier

they heard other people call the old logo toonces, so they started doing it because they saw it on tigerdroppings/myspace etc
using toonces for an animated logo doesn't even make any sense b/c toonces was never animated in the first place
people should really just stick to what they know about and stop trying to fit in...BUT, this is the rant and has come to be expected
