NCAA classic LSU moment

I know this belongs on Gaming board but I think it's funny enough for the rant.

So I was playing an online ranked match on NCAA and I was LSU of course and the guy I was playing was W. Virginia so he could scramble with pat white every damn play of course (NCAA '09). He went up 17 nothing on me early because I threw some pics and I couldn't contain White. Well finally I started doing corner blitzes and racked up some sacks and tied the game in the 4th.

Here's the classic part. I had the ball with a minute left and drove down to the 20 for the game winning field goal. I called timeout with 8 seconds left and I had another timeout left. So I figured I'd run one more time to try and get closer and get the ball to center field. At 3 seconds remaining I must have pressed the timeout button about 10 times and it never registered and we went to OT.

I felt like Les Miles in the Ole Miss game. I know that's not exactly what happened in the OM game, but I was flat out embarassed. I ended up beating him but we went to damn triple OT and wasted another 30minutes of my life haha. Just thought people would find this amusing.
