Why is that? Matchups. Look at the bowl preview USA today and PSU had a lot of advantages. Plus coaching, Joe knows how to Coach in bowl games, with the exception of last year against USC. We still put up 410 yards against their first string D. We just didn't have the personnel in the secondary to stop their receivers.

Anyway, before you post ask yourself, WWJPD, What would JoePa Do?
Good luck, your gonna need it.

yes Les Miles is 4-0 in bowl games at LSU
I think Penn State is a favorite to win because they're ranked higher than LSU. Oh well LSU 34-3

Miles, on the other hand, knows nothing about coaching in bowl games. Oh, wait ...

What happened there? Did he lose his mojo?

Oh that's right I remember, USC had way more talent than you. Just so you know LSU's talent is more like USC's than Michigan or Purdue.
For a fanbase that has one national title in the last decade or more and got humiliated at home (raped is more like it) by Iowa and tOSU you guys sure do talk a lot of trash.

What about LSU 1989-2000?
Oh that's right, you won NOTHING
But most of you are probably too young to remember that.

And you stopped a LiL early

2005 11-1 (7-1) BT Title, Orange Bowl win FSU
2006 9-4 (5-3) Outback win over Tenn
2007 9-4 (4-4) Alamo Win over A & M
2008 11-2 (7-1) BT Title, Rose Bowl loss USC
2009 (10-2) (6-2)

Nope, that would be fear.
Would only be natural coming from a second tier school from the Lil' Slow.
And what the hell is a Nittany lion anyway?
Is that anything like a paper tiger?

If your talent is so GREAT, then why did you LOSE to Ole Miss? They are more like UM talent wise? Oh that's right, you are just not that good this year

Y'all need an edutation. Lions found in state college in 1880's. Nittany is an Indian name for the mountain. So put the two together and a Lion eats a Tiger.

I thought we were talking about JoePa's coaching abilities, which you said was superior.

If an LSU coach has a record like JoePa did (from 2000-2004) he would get fired.
