nah, but if we lose, miles should be on the hot seat and needs to win at the least the SEC west next year...

I don't think he should have to lose the bowl game to be expected to win the SEC West at least 1 time every 3 years (the same goes for beating Bama, Ole Miss, and Fla at least 1 time in 3 years). Unfortunately, I don't think this is the expectation anymore. All I hear on this board is LSU was expected to lose to Bama and Florida. This is pretty much accepted now. When Miles was first hired this was not the case. Something changed in expectations of the fans. The West is not the objective anymore. He keeps his job with anything 8 wins or over in my opinion till his contract is up.

Not by everyone champ. With the talent on hand and some of the personnel attrition going on at other SEC schools I believe LSU will be expected by Tiger Nation to win at least 10 games in regular season next year and that includes a win over 'Bama at home or UF on the road or both. Several key underclassmen leaving for the draft may change the landscape more than expected in conference. Every mock draft I've looked at recently has Mallet going in the 1st round, mostly in the top ten. Florida could be decimated if all the junior rumors are true. Barksdale leaving early as some mocks claim would probalby be welcomed at this point. Several large and capable candidates on hand to replace him.
