And Jefferson is no exception.

But when your QB ranks 38th in pass efficiency, and your offense ranks 108th. . .you might want to look elsewhere for the fault.

amongst just soph starters, JJ was ranked:

13th of 17 - total yds
12th of 17 - TDs
15th of 17 - yds per comp
17th of 17 - sacks
15th of 17 - tot offense

And those worrying about switching to a freshman. Rankings of freshman compared to JJ:
9 FR had more yds/game
2 FR had more TDs
8 FR had more yds/comp
6 FR had more yds/att
8 FR had more yds
Only 1 FR led his team to less offensive production

Some lsu fans wouldnt even consider the tigers mediocre, more like terrible and a program heading towards the dumps. So considering that, then JJ did exceptionally well.
