Agree to that statement- Miami, like Fl. St., were an embarrasment, I bet half of those guys that were on those old teams that did not play pro ball probably ended up on the streets...sick of all the thug crap in sports...but I realize today that teams want to win at any cost...

miami didnt win until they got "thugs" as you call them. ohio state didnt win shite until they got clarett. he left and they suck again. nobody will admit it but you need players with an attitude and a chip on their shoulder in thier huddle

Last I looked we won NC's with out being thugs!That was a bad mind set in the country that most teams did not win with....and alot of people dead and in prison cause of the cancer like attitude which spread all over the nation in that era! It wasn't cool!. Miami would have won without the att.The point is they didn't need it to win!
