quote:
how can we look so confused and undisciplined so often over a two year period?
1. Age & inexperience at QB, O Line.
2. Overly-complex defensive (08) & offensive (09) schemes.
3. Some poor personnel decisions by Miles (co-coordinators).
What I wish someone would describe for me is, assuming we didn't have Miles right now, what they think the LSU program would like. Alabama? What do they think they would see that they aren't seeing now?

In 2008, our OL as a unit was ranked preseason #5 and our DL was #1. In 2009, the OL was #15 and the DL #20. Those same units were to a man highly recruited lineman. We have heard all too many times that ____________ is not picking up the offensive scheme. And we watch palyers from numerous other schools make big contributions as Fresh and Soph (PP excluded).
The recruting classes over the past 4 years are among the top in the nation. Our coaching staff is among the highest paid in the nation. We have state of the art facilities and some of the most passionate fans in the nation.
Yet our offense is ranked among the bottom 10% and we have struggled to an 8-8 record in the SEC over the past 2 years. Even if you take out the Ole Miss ending, which any fan would admit was mind-boggling, I would ask you to name what game(s) over the past 25 would lead you to believe we are ready to compete for an SEC title?
