He gave me about as many nightmares as Hookfin. Thoughts?

haha yeah but it is wrong to say it. Oh and are you ready for the Raiders in the Dome? what year you graduate?

Ready? Tomorrow is going to be amazing. We are treating this like it is a Tiger game. Graduated in '00. You?

I'm ready to see the majority of this senior class go to be perfectly honest with you.

Not his fault he was out of position for 4 years. not his fault he's the only 6'2 210 ss safety covering slot receivers in the SEC..
With that said, he was a better player his freshman year then he was his last two years..thats a bit of a concern

This.
McCray would have been really good, had he been played in his correct position.
Malleveto fricked him, and I feel sorry for the kid.

Alem and Mccray played hard but I think the defense will be better w/o them XD

I feel bad for him too. Lining up in the slot equalled a 3rd down conversion about every time against 44.

Being a Rummel grad, this may be hard for you to understand. I thinks its dumb to trash our own players on a public forum. Not every player is going to be an all-american etc. The two years we won the BCS we had "McCray-like" players who functioned in certain roles. Its called being on a team. I could go on but Im probably wasting my time...carry on.

He was pretty good early in his career, and he played fairly well this year. Sure, you could find some plays where he might've been burned, but you can do that with every player on defense... even Peterson. He regrettably got a bad rap from being used incorrectly last year, and that made people a little hypersensitive to any and every mistake. If he were all-American this year, people would still say he was terrible for any bad plays... case in point is Ciron Black, who made 2nd team All American, and all SEC, yet our fans say he sucked because the line as a whole struggled. Guilty by association I guess.
While not perfect, I appreciate him and the other seniors who are leaving.

Saying that I am glad to see a player go is not exactly trashing that player. One can not really trash a player who, I think, led the team in total career tackles. Having said that, I think our defense will be better off without him.

well being form whatever high school McCray went to you don't realize the year we won the BCS we had Craig Steltz playing Safety he was an all american... and also a Rummel Alumni.
Also we had Taylor at FS and Coleman and jONes behind them.
And what exactly is a McCray like role?
