Would LSU fans be more forgiving if ticket prices lower?

just a thought for the morning
i see many people complain about the cost of tickets and TAF and how the "real fans" are priced out of the full LSU experience
if prices were aligned in such a manner that more affordable options were available, do you believe that fans would be more forgiving because of their increased closeness to the program?

1) I just my TAF renewal and my $350/seat donation just went to $400, so obviously the lowering of prices is a fantasy.
2) As long as the Tigers are a winner, lowering prices would do nothing but decrease revenue for LSU. Season tickets have sold out since the 2004 season.

No, if Les was making 750k a year instead of almost 4 million, maybe.

Less revenue would lead us right back to the 90s when we had crappy facilities and coaches.
Can't imagine any fan being "more forgiving" with that situation.

I guarantee you that most of the whiners and complainers on this board spend very little on LSU sports. Probably own one hat or t-shirt and call themselves a fans because the tune into the games on cable and post on the internet. The season ticket holders are going spend the money in good or bad seasons. Multiple, consecutive bad seasons may affect this but that is not what is happening.

I have to agree with what everyone has been saying: lower ticket prices would result in bad seasons and poor facilities. TAF is a business.
