I think he'll get a CUSA type job at some point.

I wonder if Fulmer can still be a difference maker for a program, or has his ship sailed and he just needs to stay out of coaching. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest in him.

He's going to pursue an acting career.

He can come coach in Lafayette for a shitty D-1 program. I'll gladly take him.

Fulmer is a perfect fit for Kansas. They would get an SEC coach who has won a NC. The fact they have not contacted him shows how low his stock is. I don't think he's gonna find anything.

It amazes me how far a University will let a football program decline before they get rid of a coach.

Fulmer probably thinks he is above the type of jobs he can get.

Chavis will not follow Fulmer. He's on record saying he loves LSU and should have made the move years ago.

Actually he wasn't a good coach for a "long time," depending on one's definition of a long time. Fulmer's success was in the nineties and that wasn't because of his coaching ability, rather it was because of a tremendous amount of talent. Tennessee won in the nineties despite Fulmer's lack of coaching ability. During his last nine years, Fulmer's overall winning record was considerably less than Tennessee's all time winning percentage. And Fulmer's last four years were even worse. Fulmer is a very, very, very average coach, hence his difficulty in getting any serious consideration for a good job. Additionally he is a bit long of tooth at 59, and Fulmer wants to pick and choose which job he gets. He wants to make it into the CFHOF and wants a job that will help him achieve that. Fulmer is in denial of the concrete cold and hard facts about his accomplishments (lack of).
