Reading up on LSU and I was able to watch a few games via ESPN 360.

I have to say with LSU the statistics can be deceiving, The games I watched and looked at online LSU seemed like they are able to move the ball with a mobile QB in Jefferson, he does not take too many shots down field but when he does he looks money. The offense becomes stagnant when the shoot themselves in foot either with penalties, sacks, or drops by the receivers.

I know if you only look at Recruiting Penn State should not be on same field as LSU and LSU's recent bowl record under Les is remarkable.

However much like you guys I have faith in Joe Pa and my Nittany Lions. Here is hoping the game is close and forces Les Miles to manage his time outs and watch the clock. lol

Penn State 16
LSU 14

LSU defense is good in Red Zone so I think we will have to rely on Wagner who has been inconsistent to say the least.

Here is too a good game

Well, I agree we can look very good at times. Unfortunately our problem seems to be consistency. Here is to looking forward to a good game against a storied football program

Good first post.

I hope it is a good game for us. not you guys. We really need a blow out win as a fan base. It will be a good matchup though and it could go either way.

I want Penn State to show up against an SEC team, everyone discusses how bad the Big 10 is and I would love for Big 10 to go 2-0 vs SEC this year.

I know Ohio State will blow it vs Oregon so the rest of conference needs to step up.

We have a nice drive followed by a couple three-and-outs with penalties and sacks. We finished 9-3/5-3, which is what I predicted long before the season started, but how we got there was pretty strange.

There have been games we have looked good enough to beat anyone in country. It is a shame our biggest 2 games of the year we struggled badly and they were home games to boot.

Here is to Clark and Royster going off against the LSU defense.

LSU 55

Penn State 10

ETA: I really feel like we have kept it vanilla until the bowl game. This seems to be Miles' MO.

This sort of intelligent, observation based opinion generally doesn't go over too well on this site.

There are not too many teams I'd be more excited to see LSU matched up against than Penn State. One of the truly great programs in the history of College Football. Hopefully the next bowl we meet up in will be for the MNC.

So I have noticed, I have browsed through the first 5 pages of the Tiger Rant and all I can say is WOW.

I understand passion as I support my team but I am not sure if some of the stuff I have read could be defined as passion or hatred.

Welcome to the rant. I can say with 100% honesty and conviction that the people you meet on this board are all very intelligent and level-headed.

You do realize the SEC and Big 10 have been even in head to head games over past 5-10 years?

The LSU offense is exasperating. Good for one good drive each half, with some help by the defense the rest of the way. I KNOW the offense can play better, for whatever reason it's inconsistent.

Bad news for PSU, potentially. LSU does have a good record despite playing very inconsistent. They have put it together once this year vs Auburn, I know they can do it. Most likely vs PSU. Miles can get the fellas prepared for a bowl game.

Well since 2000 they would be 2-1

Wins over Ohio State and Illinois and a loss to Iowa
