NEEDS TO BE BENCHED UNTIL HE REALIZIES WHAT AN EMBARRASMENT HE IS. NOT BECAUSE OF GETTING BEAT, BUT BECAUSE OF HIS OVERALL ATTITUDE AND ACTIONS AFTER HE THINKS HE HAS DONE SOMETHING WORTHY OF BEING A BALLER. TOTAL THUG IDIOT WHO CAN'T BACK UP HIS BIG MOUTH.

I did not like that either,,, every time he makes a tackle there is a celebration... But none on the 2 TD's he gave up... Just play the game...

Should be deployed like the Saints do with Harper, a SS functioning as a virtual part time linebacker.

The answer is yes, but the Redskins have not addressed it since Sean Taylor passed away.

BTW.....Harper stopped the runner on goal to goal situations twice yesterday before Suisham shanked the kick. Not a peep from Harper for what was a couple of game saving moments. Quietly doing his JOB.

I don't think it has anything to do with being a Saints fan or Tiger fan because I believe both are the same. Since he left LSU and went to Washington I find his show boating on the field is way, way worse than what it ever was at LSU.

Laron has been playing out of his normal position most of the year, the Redskins real free safety Chris Horton is injured and they were forced to move Laron over from strong safety. Plus one of the skins CB is out also. He has played very well when he can look to stop the run first then look to make a big hit of a WR crossing the middle of the field. Remember Landry and Sean Taylor were to be the center piece of Washington's defense for years to come before Taylor tragically was killed. When Hortor returns Laron will go back to Strong Safety where he is more comfortable and where he belongs.

And regardless of what position he plays, he can't tackle to save his life. He's far more interested in trying to lay a big hit on the ball carrier.

This bears repeating, because there are a lot of people who seem to still not get this. I don't care if he does get switched to SS--the dude is still not a team player.

I think Landry is a really good player and within the right system will probably be a pro bowler multiple times, but he also plays dirty. Goes for the head entirely too much. Could have gotten called a couple of times for helmet to helmet. If he doesn't stop that crap he's going to end up in the hospital or paralyzed.

Again Landry due to injuries is playing out position. You can't make a correct evaluation of his ability on one game.

Laron is too egotistical.....if he keeps taunting and showboating...someone will knock his head off.

He needs to become humble and learn how to play free safety.

So what...2 big hits....then gives up 2 touchdowns and causes his team to lose.

He is classless at this point. Time to grow up and lead.

It could be argued that Laron is the 2nd best Safety to come out of his mom's uterus:

Dawan Landry - 11 games, 47 tackles, 13 assists, 4 int's, 1 td, 6 passes defended

Laron Landry - 12 games, 59 tackles, 9 assists, 0 int's, 4 passes defended

Landry did a lot of taunting when he was at LSU and nobody seemed to mind then. Most people thought he was a 'beast' and a 'badass'. It's funny to see all the Saints fans berate him now.

not me...I absolutely hated it when he was at LSU...I only supported him because he was a Tiger, but I would cuss him out everytime he started talking shite...it was so frickin unnecessary.

That was a huge play in the game...and an incredible play....but, when you make a simple tackle after a long gain, shut your frickin mouth.

He is what he is, a hard hitter
on a horrible team. He is a strong safety who convinced them to play him at free.
Lot of muscle flexing for a guy who gets toasted when it counts.

Talk shite Laron! Brees listens you idiot and so do all the others in the league. My God that is usually learned on day one at camp!

Can't do that in the show!
