The Bengals used that chant way before the Saints started using it again in 2006.

It is an adaptation of Who Dat which the Saints did come up with and used, but it really went away with the Saints suckage and didn't come up again here until 2006.

nah, who dat has always been around, you just didnt have as many people chanting it and making songs about it when they sucked. but it was still there, at the games, said by true fans, etc

Saying Who Dat's been around New Orleans all the way back to the height of the jazz age. But the Bengals adopted the chant in 1981, the Saints didn't until 1983.

It's kind of hard to use it when you're 4-12.

FAIL. You should never use WikiPedia as a "credible source."

If you've ever been to the dome during the lean years of the '90s and the end of Haslett, you still would have heard the Who Dat cheer during any victory, even when 7-9.
