Because of the pure unadulterated evil known as Alabama will be here in January.
Hopefully Alabama will keep their streak with Texas alive (having never beaten the horns).

On the other hand, you don't have to deal with USC arrogance for atleast another year. I certainly don't have to put up with Cal fans' bullshite around here. Stanford fans are pretty cool usually.

You are selling our beloved Louisiana short. The Rose Bowl had the largest pre-order of ticket sales by LSU fans the year we were anticipating playing in it (2006). They were estimating over 65,000 of us for that.

They would have. They've already seen the gumps here recently (2000 game against UCLA) and they do not care for them in the least.

Tell me about it. My wife (the Ranter presently known as WildTigerTara) and I are going to the BCSCCG (after the "What's in your wallet? Bowl). We plan on hooking up w/TD.com folks out here, as we did at the 'Bama and Ole Piss games, and and in Orlando (so no Rose Bowl this yr.).
