Did USC go 7-5 in the regular season last year?

Or were they in the Rose Bowl?

No. And at this point neither should Les Miles.

There. I said it.

Pete Carroll has won 7 straight conference titles at USC. Les Miles has won one at LSU. Pete Carroll turned the program around himself. Les Miles walked into a gold mine. Pete Carroll won't lost 3 games next year. Les Miles still finished 3rd in the conference after finishing 5th the year before.

Some fans will never be happy-if we went 12-0 every year, they would still bitch about it. That's the way they treated Cholly Mac, and when he left, it only got worse-then took years to get it back. Be careful what you wish for.

I wasn't aware that Cholly Mac went 12-0 every year. Are you trying to be obtuse?

Superstar, they forget 2 things:

1) Carroll took a fledgling USC team in 2 years to BCS contention followed by PAC-10 domination and 2 NCs the next 7 years.

2) He's had one down year, and even then he got 8 wins against FBS and BCS teams.

Miles on the other hand got 7 wins last season against FBS teams. 3 of those wins were against NON-BCS teams in Tulane, Troy, and North Texas.

Again big difference seeing as USC and Carroll also beat a top 10 tOSU at tOSU as well.

+1
I hear what you say about a weak Pac 10, but Les has not even won a West Title in 2 years.

Like its been said before USC didn't suck last year and they are playing a true freshman at QB. Whats sad is their qb looks better than ours who now has like 15 starts under his belt.

True, but Les has to coach against Live coaches. Carrol coaches against zombies.

i dont know why ppl bitch about lsu when USC plays in the friggin pac-10. they r supposed to be the elite team yr in and yr out. how many top players have they recruited over the past years. and they get blown out and completely outcoached by oregon and stanford. and lose close gms to a horrible washington.arizona. but we lose to number 1 and 2 in the country and a blow one gm and miles is the worst coach in the country. i say usc is far more disappointing than us. once we get that qb and oline worked out we r going be a national power again.
