I think we lock up Freak Johnson, but wondering who else he can persuade to come to LSU who has already commited to Tenn. As long as we don't get a Janzen Jackson

Trovon Reed was looking at Tenn, a lot late in the process....UT's WR coach...Frank Wilson

Wilson, who also recruits in Mississippi, has secured a commitment for 2010 from defensive lineman Ken Adams from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Miss., and one of the top 2011 prospects in Louisiana: defensive lineman Anthony Johnson from O. Perry Walker High School, who is related to Wilson.

2008-09 - Mississippi State (for 2 months)
2009- Tennessee

And would you like to post Nick Saban's track record since leaving Michigan State?

I'd get him just to get Freak Johnson. Then I couldn't care less if he goes somewhere else for 2011.

They need to send his arse to Lagrange and get the other badass DT.

If we don't get Wilson, we can just put Yano on him and he'll lock him down.

Seriously. Someone please explain to me why we don't have our best recruiter on the best prospect?

2 reasons.
1) Yano is too good to focus on one recruit. He's our closer. Whenever Miles wants to get a commit, he sends the last don in for an in home visit and the deal is sealed.
2) There's a real concern that LSU will get the USC 5 star curse if we let Yano go after every recruit he wants.

Leads to a logjam of too much talent, future recruits look elsewhere for early playing time. Gotcha.

Vol fans are saying that if he leaves they could likely lose Johnson, Ken Adams and Risean Broussard.

Would it help get Trovon to LSU?

Risean Broussard.
They already lost Broussard to reading, writing and arithmetic.
