If you haven't been a team captain, you may know "how" to play football, but you don't know the "whys" of football.

That's just what I was thinkin' - and why I followed up the way I did. I've seen a couple "2-Hit Rumbles" in my time....

I think he's about to tell us how that if you didn't play football, you aren't allowed to have an opinion on players, play calling, coaching, or anything related to football. For what its worth, I've known a lot of D1 players that I wouldn't even let manage a fantasy team for me.

So out of this guys 71 post he has asked 4 different people if they have ever played football, told 3 different people that he played football at LSU and called 2 people "Mooooooorons".

This guy is either lying about playing football for LSU or that playing for charlie mac was his single greatest accomplishment since his is now a pipefitter living in arizona who has to live in the past to make him feel better about his life.

We never lost a game. I had 500 rushing yards in one game with 8 touchdowns. Damn NCAA won't
recognize my record

Coaching football and participating in practices is a good way to learn who should be playing, why plays are called in situations etc. Unless you're at practice, you don't know the players who prtform best and who grasps the offense etc.
Fantasy football and EA sports are not the same as mentioned above. Being a reserve high school player provides one with more insite than those who never played.
If you flute players did play organized football, you would understand that injuries etc affect what plays coaches call etc.
The ten or fifteen expert, post whores on this site never played the game, yet they think they know more than coaches who have spent their lives teaching football.

FWIW Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley never even played high school football. I know that Charlie Weiss didn't play college ball. Does that make you more qualified than them?

Tuberville didn't play one down of college ball, yet I'm sure he knows a bit more than the originator of this thread. My father-in-law played DB at SAU in the 70's where Tubs was a grad assistant. Does playing college ball automatically give you superior insight into the game?

Just what i though. A bunch of know it alls .The mentality of Louisiana people is why i moved away. You are the most close minded people on the planet. You get married and move next door to your parents.Even when we go home to visit my children always thank me for moving away. I know this will hurt your feelings but you people take the cake. By the way my wife is a Doctor and i do what i want for a living.La is full of pipefitters and less.

Thank God you left with that mindset.

I'm sure Cholly Mac didn't teach you that kind of attitude from everything I've read about the man. Congrats on failing to learn when you had the opportunity.

Now go back to doing what you want for a living, since you seem to think you are the only one who is that lucky

I just went and took a quick look at your posts. Almost all of them say "I played at LSU" in them. Can your analysis and opinion stand on their own?
