And we beat 7-5 Georgia, Auburn and Arkansas; which would all demolish these two teams.

Yeah, I should have just said the best teams they beat are Temple and Northwestern. The names alone should have been sufficient. I still think LSU's body of work is way better than Penn St's....

Penn St's best wins are 9-3 Temple and 8-4 Northwestern. Those are also the only defeated foes with records over .500

I'd argue that the two best teams they've beaten were Northwestern and Minnesota. Even at 6-6, Minnesota had a top 10 SOS.

It's all null and void, though if we can't stop PSU's running game. We averaged around 180 yds rushing allowed in our 3 losses and they are averaging over 170 per game. They also have a top 10 defense. It would be closer than ND for sure.

Honestly, I haven't real impressed with any Big Ten team during the bowl season the last couple of years.

Ferentz is 3-1 versus SEC. Last year beat South Carolina 31-10 and it wasn't even that close.

LSU will win but to say it will be a blow out is stupid, we couldnt even blow out ull or tech, come on get real we havent blown out anyone, our D should keep Penn St. or Iowa out the the endzone but we will struggle to score

Is 28 points not a blowout? Granted, I will give you that it was a very ugly game. And Tulane was definitely a blowout.

I wouldn't go that far. A good bit of people realized that GT was too one-dimensional---our D didn't perform well last year, but we were too talented to get beat by a run-only team.

Anyone impressed or not with Penn State's record this year?
Les Miles will find a way to make the game close, either a field goal or an overtime, it's what he does. No matter how overmatched we are against our opponent, his teams play down to the competition.

If you're going to say "it's what he does" you can't really say that about bowl games. It's obvious he does his best work to prepare with the long break before the bowl games. It would be more accurate to say, like many have already said, that LSU will blow them out. Because that's what Miles does.

Edit: nevermind about the overmatch stuff. Ha.
